LightSquared and Inmarsat Collaborate to Support Hurricane Irene Emergency Responders
RESTON, Va. and LONDON, Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LightSquared™, the nation's first wholesale-only integrated 4G-LTE wireless broadband and satellite network, and Inmarsat, the leading provider of global mobile satellite communications services, today announced that they have coordinated resources to ensure that their respective emergency services customers have reliable access to essential satellite communications to support their Hurricane Irene relief efforts.
