Media invited to kick-off Lightning Safety Awareness Week at a free and educational expo focused on building lightning safe communities
COLLEGE PARK, Md., June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Members of the media are invited to join the Lightning Protection Institute and partners at the University of Maryland on June 24 for an exclusive press conference and reporter workshop in conjunction with Lightning Safety Awareness Week (June 22-27). The event will provide fresh leads on stories about how researchers and organizations are building lightning-safe communities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
