Lighting Science Group Hires Jose Sierra to Maintain High Customer Satisfaction

SATELLITE BEACH, Fla., March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lighting Science Group Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: LSCG), a leading American maker of LED-based lighting, today announced that Dr. Jose Sierra has joined the company as Vice President of Customer Satisfaction. Dr. Sierra will oversee all aspects of customer support and continue to maintain the Company's high level of customer satisfaction. He reports to John Stanley, Lighting Science Group's Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Lighting Science Group, Dr. Sierra was the director of quality and reliability and continuous improvement at DRS Technologies. Prior to DRS Technologies, he held the positions of director of quality and reliability at Bosch Security Systems and manager of supplier quality assurance with Lockheed Martin.  Dr. Sierra also worked as a quality associate manager with Motorola, Inc.

Dr. Sierra holds a Ph.D. and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management Systems as well as a Master of Science in Quality Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
