Lighting Science Definity® MR16 HO Lamp Named Best Lamp by EC&M magazine
SATELLITE BEACH, Fla., April 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lighting Science Group Corporation® (OTCQB: LSCG) announced today that the Definity® MR16 High Output LED Lamp was selected as a category winner in the Lamps division by EC&M magazine in its 2013 Product of the Year competition.
The Definity® MR 16 High Output 8-watt LED Lamp is up to 84 percent more efficient than comparable Halogen lamps and rated for a life of 25,000 hours. The lamp lasts up to eight times longer than conventional lighting such as incandescent or halogen and provides virtually maintenance-free operation.

The Definity® MR 16 High Output 8-watt LED Lamp was one of a record-breaking 160 entries in 47 categories that was reviewed, voted on, and awarded. A panel of 12 judges, including electrical professionals representing the design/engineering, contracting, and facilities/maintenance industries selected by the EC&M editorial staff reviewed and voted on the entries.
The winner from each category will go on to vie for the 2013 Product of the Year Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards, which will be determined through an online readers' poll in the next month and announced in the July issue.
