Second Annual Event for the Global Communications Sector Triples in Size and Scope
NEW YORK, July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Light Reading (www.lightreading.com), the market-leading online community for the global communications sector, today announced that the annual Big Telecom Event 2015 (BTE) (bigtelecomevent.com) will return to Chicago to bring industry insights and real-world, cutting-edge technology demonstrations to telecom executives following its tremendously successful inaugural event. BTE 2015 is tripling the size of its demo hall and its education program. The event will take place June 9-10, 2015 at McCormick Place.
BTE will combine an unrivalled mix of interactive panels and presentations created and hosted by Heavy Reading's industry analysts with show floor demonstrations of networking technologies and applications as well as structured, targeted networking opportunities. BTE will cover software-defined networking (SDN), network functions virtualization (NFV), cloud services, next-generation communications network planning, small cell architectures, big data analytics, mobile network security, as well as three new areas of focus: utilities communications, Gigabit Cities and IoT.
