Lifestory Research Reports: Sherwin-Williams Recognized as the 2017 America's Most Trusted Paint Brand
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Jan. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sherwin-Williams has been identified as the Lifestory Research 2017 America's Most Trusted® Paint Brand in the United States. The study is based on the opinions of 9,127 consumers and their level of trust of specific paint brands.

To qualify to participate in the study, participants must have indicated that they were aware of specific paint brands. As the 2017 Lifestory Research America's Most Trusted® Paint Brand, Sherwin-Williams produced the highest Net Trust Quotient Score, followed in order by (2) Behr, (3) Valspar, (4) Benjamin Moore, (5) Glidden, (6) Dutch Boy, and (7) ACE.
America's Most Trusted is an on-going study that examines the role of trust in consumer decisions. This is the fifth year of the study in which brands have been recognized and awarded the designation of America's Most Trusted®. The recognition is based on an independent and unbiased evaluation of thousands of consumer opinions collected by Lifestory Research in the United States over the course of a 12 month period. The brands included in the ranking list are those brands most recognized by consumers. Some brands included in the study are not represented in the published list since they did not generate a brand awareness score high enough to be included.
Brands currently awarded the designation of America's Most Trusted include: home builders, active adult resort home builders, faucets, HVAC systems, kitchen appliance brands, laundry appliance brands, paint brands, and residential real estate brokerages.
