Taylor Morrison Homes, Skyline Homes, and Trilogy by Shea Homes Rank Highest Again in Trust Among Home Buyers
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Jan. 3, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Trust in home builders continues to decline, according to the 2024 America's Most Trusted® Study, released today. Among the largest home builders in the United States, Lifestory Research found a universal decline in trust in each national builder in the annual study. The decline in trust among home builders underscores a concerning trend within the housing industry. The study found that factors such as construction quality, adherence to timelines, transparency in communication, and customer service can contribute to the erosion of trust.
Since the initial ranking of home builders in the America's Most Trusted® Study in 2013, the study has evolved to examine trust within more than 75 product categories related to housing. Across the 75 America's Most Trusted® Studies, Lifestory Research finds that brands tend to retain the same level of consumer trust.

Home buyers have rated Taylor Morrison Homes as America's Most Trusted® Home Builder for the ninth year. According to the 2024 study, Taylor Morrison received the highest trust rating with a Net Trust Quotient Score 109.9.
In the Lifestory Research 2024 America's Most Trusted® Study, 58,991 customers shopping for a new home were surveyed, and their opinions of the nation's largest home builders were asked. Home builders included in the national ranking included Taylor Morrison, TriPointe Homes, Toll Brothers, Ashton Woods, LGI Homes, Mattamy Homes, K. America's Most Trusted® Manufactured Home Builder
Skyline Homes has earned the title of America's Most Trusted® Manufactured Home Builder for the fourth consecutive year, according to the 2024 America's Most Trusted Study by Lifestory Research. Out of 26,760 surveyed consumers expressing their opinions on manufactured homes, Skyline emerged as the top-ranked choice.
Skyline Homes captured the highest Net Trust Quotient score (98.5). Brands included in the final ranking were nationally recognized by people actively shopping for a manufactured home. Trilogy by Shea Homes has again been identified as America's Most Trusted® Active Adult Resort Builder for an impressive twelfth consecutive year. The 2024 study reveals that Trilogy by Shea Homes attained the highest Net Trust Quotient Score of 111.7 among the housing industry's most prominent active adult brands.
In the Lifestory Research 2024 America's Most Trusted® Active Adult Resort Builder Study, 20,164 people were surveyed and asked their opinions of active adult resort home builders. For inclusion in the ranking, the brand must be known to active adult shoppers throughout the United States and be among the largest 55+ active adult home builders based on sales volume.
