Jon Melling Joins LifeNexus, Inc. Board of Directors
SAN FRANCISCO, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeNexus, the developer of the iChip and Personal Health Card®, today announced the addition of Jon Melling to its Board of Directors. The LifeNexus Personal Health Card is the first multi-purpose electronic health card utilizing the embedded iChip for securely maintaining an individual's personal health record and incorporates a payment card option.

Mr. Melling sits on the HIMSS/AHIMA HIE Privacy and Security Work Group and the HIMSS ICD-10 Task Force and is also the President of the HIMSS Arizona Chapter. Jon Melling has extensive international experience as an IT systems consultant and major vendor. His experience in healthcare goes back twenty five years in the U.K. and U.S. He started his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and subsequently held senior positions with First Consulting Group, Ernst and Young, First Data Health Systems and ACT Medisys (part of Misys). Mr. Melling built the HealthSystems Group in the U.K. into a leading Health Informatics consultancy.
