Life Skills Centers Community High Schools Receive Highest Scores in Franklin County
AKRON, Ohio, Sept. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- We are proud to announce that the Life Skills Center of Columbus Southeast and the Life Skills Center of Columbus North were the highest ranked drop-out recovery schools in Franklin County and were both ranked in the top-15 of dropout recovery schools in the state of Ohio according to Performance Index (PI) scores on the 2010-2011 school year report card, which is conducted annually by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
The Life Skills Center of Columbus Southeast (2400 S. Hamilton Rd., Columbus, OH 44232) ranked 1st in Franklin County and 8th in Ohio with a PI score of 86.7 for the 2010-11 school year, an increase of 9.7 over the 2009-10 school year.
The Life Skills Center of Columbus North (1900 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43229) ranked 3rd in Franklin County and 15th in Ohio with a PI score of 84.1, up 14.4 from the previous year.
