life:) was listed among the top 5 among the awards given at the "Microstrategy World" organization, which is staged annually by Microstrategy with participants specialized in business intelligence. This year's event, the 16th, saw a record of 2,500 participants, and life:) was chosen among the top 5 companies in the category of the best dashboard developed in the world. From among a total of 87 contenders for this category including life:), the other companies listed in the top 5 were Apollo Group (education sector), the Cheescake Factory (food sector), Pinnaccle Corporation (IT sector), and Generali Employee Benefits Network (finance sector).
In 2012, life:) initiated a data warehouse project aimed at gathering all the data in the company in one source, as well as to manage it, ensure consistency, and report from a single point, using US-based company Microstrategy's technology. It developed a dashboard (demonstration panel) on the data warehouse, with the objectives of presenting data to upper management in a visual manner, thus shortening the decision-making process, and automatizing the reporting process by removing the human factor. This dashboard made it possible to automatically reach data on a single interface from anywhere on mobile devices. For instance, with this dashboard the sales team is able to track each distributor's sales numbers instantly with the advantage of mobility; or else reports that had formerly required significant manpower, can be prepared instantly and automatically requiring no single individual.
