Life Partners to Provide Medicine & Supplies to Children & the Needy in Iraq
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 18, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of its ongoing efforts to alleviate human suffering, the American relief organization, Life for Relief and Development (Life) in partnership with another humanitarian organization and a private airline, will be providing over one million dollars worth of medical, educational, and other humanitarian supplies to the needy in Iraq.
Partnering with Another Joy Foundation, a Nevada-based non-profit organization, and Al-Naser Airlines, the first private airline in Iraq, Life will be sending medicines, medical supplies, educational books, children's toys, and other humanitarian supplies to Iraq. The flight, which is being provided courtesy of Al-Naser Airlines, is scheduled to take off from Goodyear, Arizona on Tuesday, 4/19/11, on route to Baghdad.
The supplies will be delivered to the Life office in Baghdad and will be distributed to hospitals, clinics, schools, universities, orphans and the less fortunate in Iraq, by Life's staff there.
These shipments are part of Life's ongoing humanitarian campaign to provide urgently needed humanitarian and medical aid to the needy in Iraq as well as other countries stricken by calamity.
