PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Life of Purpose Addiction Treatment Centers announced the formation of the inaugural WOMEN'S PROJECT whose main purpose is to bring together women throughout the behavioral healthcare industry to celebrate, uplift, inform, educate, and solidify the critical contributions women in this industry provide to their clients, their families, and colleagues. This event has forged a collaboration between leading addiction treatment industry providers Life of Purpose, Enlightened Solutions and Garden State Treatment Center.
The idea for The Women's Project was the brainchild of Diana Dubbs, Life of Purpose New Jersey Outreach Manager. Dubbs stated, "When I began working in this industry, there were not a lot of women executives in the industry, so finding a mentor and a network of women was next to impossible. Today, through the emergence of this Women's Project, we hope to provide this platform."
According to Life of Purpose Marketing Director, Rebecca Lerman, "Several women throughout the tri-state area in the behavioral health field have expressed interest in creating a forum whereby women at all levels and positions can network, share best practices, and discuss the critical issues facing the treatment addiction industry today. We want to discuss how women engaged in the industry can advance their careers, continue to enhance their wellness and self-care, and showcase women executives who have established successful careers who will share steps to success with the attendees."
Lerman noted, "We are thrilled to showcase three women executive leaders at this inaugural event. These women are:
Missy Orlando, MBA– President & Chief Strategist – Strategy12 Consulting. Orlando previously served as EVP, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer for Caron Treatment Centers, and now provides strategy and consulting services to the addiction treatment industry, as well as serves as serving as PR consultant for Life of Purpose treatment centers;
Robi Styer, CIA- VP of Solutions Development for Enlightened Solutions. Styer is well known throughout the addiction treatment and behavioral healthcare industry having worked in the field for over 10 years years; and,
Elizabeth Hill, LCADC – Clinical Director for Garden State Recovery. Hill is a licensed, credentialed clinician who brings many years of successful treatment clinical best practices to this event.
All three women will be sharing topics relevant to THE WOMEN'S PROJECT and empowering women in the addiction treatment and behavioral healthcare field.
