PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 24, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Life of Purpose Addiction Treatment Centers announced it has hired Dr. Robert E. Wenger to serve as head of its mental health services.
For his entire distinguished professional career, spanning five decades, Dr. Wenger has pioneered and excelled in treating clients and their families suffering from mental health and behavioral health disorders, while in private practice as well as working with renowned addiction treatment centers, several located in the greater Philadelphia area. Wenger received his psychiatric medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, and his undergraduate degree from The University of Pennsylvania. He holds several faculty appointments with University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, as well as Drexel University.

Wenger's has been treating clients with psychiatry, psychoanalysis, and psychotherapy for his entire professional practice. He has received numerous awards and honors, as well as having been published in multiple professional and scientific journals. He is a published author in "Contemporary Psychiatry" on the topic of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and co-author of the monograph, "Helping Students Adapt to Graduate School: Making the Grade" published by The Haworth Press, N.Y.
With the hiring of Drs. Wenger and Blatt, Life of Purpose is excited to announce the expansion of their MAT and medical services. As a client of Life of Purpose one can now obtain an induction and be maintained on their prescribed medication such as suboxone or Vivitrol.
