Life for Relief & Sheikh Thani Charity to Send $1.5 Million in Medical & Humanitarian Aid for Haiti Quake Victims
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In its third relief campaign to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, the American-based relief organization, Life for Relief and Development (Life) in partnership with Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services, a major humanitarian relief organization in Qatar, is preparing to send more humanitarian and medical aid to the hard-hit Caribbean Nation.
Life, in partnership with Sheikh Thani Charity which has as its motto Mercy is Grace and is abbreviated RAF (in Arabic), will be sending $1.5 million in food, water, medicines, medical equipment, hospital beds, and other emergency supplies as part of Phase Three of the campaign to help the victims of the deadly earthquake. The medicines, medical supplies, and hospital beds will be delivered to local hospitals and clinics on the Caribbean Island. Life will also send a Relief Team to Haiti to oversee the distribution of the medical and humanitarian supplies.
