Licensing Expo China & LIMA Launch the First China Licensing Awards
SHANGHAI, China, April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Licensing Expo China and the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA) recently announced the launch of the China Licensing Awards. The Awards aim to recognize the outstanding achievements of companies with licensing properties in China.
China Licensing Awards 2017 categories include:
- Best Chinese Property of the Year
- Best Licensed Promotion of the Year
- Best Corporate Brand/Fashion/Lifestyle Program of the Year
- Best Entertainment Property of the Year
- Best Licensee of the Year
- Best Character/ Film/ TV/ Entertainment Licensee of the Year
- Best Retailer of the Year
- Best Digital Program of the Year
All companies who achieved outstanding results with their licensing/licensed properties are invited or can nominate other companies to any of the above award categories. The China Licensing Awards is now open for nomination. Submission of entries is open from now until 30 April 2017.
Finalists will be selected and judged by 20 licensing experts all over the world, and public can also participate and vote. Public voting accounts for 30%, and experts judging accounts for 70%. Winners will be announced at the China Licensing Awards Ceremony on 18 July 2017 during the Licensing Expo China 2017.

It is forecasted over 250 brands/ properties will be showcased at the trade show.
