Liberty Power Names New Senior Vice President of Sales

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Liberty Power, one of the fastest-growing retail electric providers in the United States, today announced the selection of Richard Rathvon to the position of Senior Vice President, Sales.

Rathvon brings nearly 30 years of industry-related experience to Liberty Power, having held senior positions with notable multi-billion dollar energy companies.  He was Vice President and General Manager, Energy Marketing at Reliant Resources, Inc. (now RRI Energy).  There, Rathvon led all aspects of creating and growing the retail electric business outside of Texas.  He also worked for various affiliates of the Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), a New Jersey-based utility.  Rathvon has also served as President of the Retail Energy Supply Association (RESA), an organization of retail energy suppliers, including Liberty Power, which promotes the development of vibrant and sustainable competitive retail energy markets for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.  Rathvon earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington and is a member of the American Bar Association and District of Columbia Bar Association.
