ATLANTA, July 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Liaison Technologies, a recognized leader in cloud-based integration and data management solutions, announced today that the company has expanded its sales team significantly to meet growing demand worldwide for the revolutionary Liaison ALLOY™ Platform. Interest in ALLOY has spiked as enterprises across all industries seek cloud-friendly alternatives to on-premises integration middleware. Liaison recently named veteran sales executive Don Terry to the role of Vice President of Enterprise Sales to drive growth as interest in traditional middleware alternatives accelerates.
As a recent report developed by Liaison in partnership with The Aberdeen Group revealed, the middleware market is in flux, with enterprises set to replace 84% of all middleware over the next four years as they shift to the cloud to support digital transformation. In today's market, where a related finding also shows that 84% of companies surveyed have 50 or more business applications to integrate, IT organizations are finding it a challenge to control data integration and management costs while bridging the gaps between cloud services, applications and on-premises middleware platforms. Many of these middleware platforms were designed before the advent of the cloud and big data.
As companies discover the need to accommodate ever-increasing numbers of applications and data sources, Liaison's expanded sales team under Terry's leadership will offer the ALLOY Platform and Liaison's managed services solution, which were developed from the ground up to give companies an opportunity to extend their middleware investments to the cloud without committing scarce developer resources. Working with Liaison also relieves customers of compliance burdens and simplifies budgeting.
"Demand for our ALLOY Platform is growing as this once-in-a-generation integration infrastructure shift affects businesses across all industries," said Rob Consoli, Chief Revenue Officer at Liaison. "Companies are looking for new ways to overcome the complexities of on-premises middleware and to harmonize data so that it's secure, compliant and accessible. ALLOY is providing the answer for many customers. That's why we've expanded our sales force to increase our momentum, bringing our inherently compliant data integration and management platform and managed services approach to more enterprises that are looking beyond traditional middleware solutions."
"I'm incredibly excited about joining Liaison, which is changing the way businesses operate in a data-driven economy," Terry said. "The company's fast growth and customers' overwhelming enthusiasm for the ALLOY Platform demonstrate the potential for a solution that helps businesses integrate and manage data in an environment in which data competence defines success. We plan to spread the ALLOY message beyond traditional markets, helping companies in every sector move toward a data-inspired future."
Terry is a veteran sales executive who brings a wealth of insight to his new role, particularly in the telecommunications, media, financial services, manufacturing, and high technology sectors. Prior to joining Liaison, Terry served as Vice President of Sales at Spredfast and SignalSense, Inc. Before that, he was Global Head of Business Development at Pivotal, after serving as Senior Vice President of Sales at Entertainment Partners and Vice President of Digital Sales at Technicolor.
The first platform to offer unified integration and data management capabilities, ALLOY breaks down data silos, and Liaison's unique managed services approach frees in-house data scientists and IT experts to focus on driving innovation in an increasingly data-centric economy.
