ATLANTA, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Liaison Technologies, a recognized leader in cloud-based integration and data management solutions, today announced that the company has been selected as global markets Master Data Management (MDM) solution provider to support the global ERP and CRM rollout program for global aesthetics and neurotoxin company Merz Pharma Group.
The project will leverage the award-winning cloud-based Liaison ALLOY™ Platform for Healthcare, with its unified integration and data management capabilities and fully managed services, to deliver a global data solution for Merz across multiple regions. The ALLOY Platform for Healthcare's MDM solution, which manages data across multiple domains, will provide a customer master data repository, complete with real-time synchronization, management and integration with Merz's global ERP and CRM systems, as well as built-in data governance and inherent compliance.
Forrester recently called the Liaison ALLOY™ Platform, which includes the ALLOY Platform for Healthcare, a Strong Performer in MDM[1] and cited it for its visionary strategy. ALLOY provides the only Data Platform-as-a-Service (dPaaS) approach to integration and data management. It's unified platform and cloud-based solution resolves the challenges of complex hierarchies and taxonomies, enabling businesses to overcome obstacles in mastering, consuming and analyzing data from multiple sources while eliminating redundancies and data silos.
Merz will deploy the Liaison ALLOY Platform for Healthcare to integrate its existing source systems, creating a customer master data repository. This will enable comprehensive, scalable data management and end-to-end operational visibility across the organization, backed by managed services to support implementation, ongoing integration and to fulfill international compliance requirements.
"Implementing reliable, scalable multi-domain MDM is increasingly a top priority for growing international companies like Merz," said Gary Palgon, Liaison's Vice President for Healthcare and Life Sciences Solutions. "The Liaison ALLOY Platform for Healthcare provides the most comprehensive, future-ready solution for the life sciences market, and we're pleased to be a partner of choice in addressing complex data integration and management demands of the industry."
Specifically, ALLOY will perform three primary functions for Merz:
- MDM, including integration, cleansing and mastering of data during the insertion process, which ensures accuracy and validity of data, reduces duplicates, synchronizes data and provides greater confidence in the data itself.
- MDM automation and integration to minimize errors, automate real-time feeds into target systems and accelerate data availability for field representatives. The system includes automatic lookup prior to entering new customer records to prevent duplicate entries.
- Data governance and compliance analysis, plus ongoing built-in security and compliance to meet market-specific requirements.
"ALLOY offers a mature and complete MDM solution to meet our global needs," said Stefan Schacht, Vice President - Corporate Strategic Sourcing & Corporate IT for Merz. "This implementation provides not just a technology solution, but an overall business transformation approach that will offer us much greater flexibility in future service deployments as our international data demands grow and evolve."
