WATERTOWN, Mass., Dec. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Liaison International today announced the launch of GradCAS, which will be showcased at the CGS Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona. The new Centralized Application Service (CAS™) is available to graduate programs where there are no national affinities or professional associations.
With GradCAS, graduate programs gain access to a Centralized Application Service, a marketplace designed specifically to meet their admissions needs. It includes the student facing application and application management software, along with scanning and packaging services that are further complemented with applicant phone and email support. The comprehensive combination frees graduate staff to focus on more important tasks, such as recruiting and advising prospective students. More than half a dozen schools have already begun leveraging GradCAS to streamline their admissions processes.
"I am thrilled," said Julie Masterson, associate provost and dean of the Graduate College at Missouri State University, which is an early adopter of GradCAS. "Now all of our graduate programs will experience the same benefits that our professional programs in CASPA, CSDCAS, PTCAS and OTCAS have had for years.
"Our degree offerings in GradCAS will carry the Missouri State brand, while at the same time allowing each individual graduate program to create messaging that builds widespread awareness of their strengths and unique benefits. With GradCAS, we can efficiently use admissions criteria and decision-making processes that fill seats with best-fit students. Finally, national level data will help support our graduate enrollment management goals."
"Two decades of work within graduate admissions helped us develop the technology to simplify the admissions process while maintaining individual program requirements and supporting their unique workflows," said George Haddad, founder and CEO of Liaison. "Now, we are bringing this technology and these services to an expanded set of programs to help them build better classes."
Over the last two decades, Liaison has helped over 7,000 programs on more than 800 campuses more effectively manage admissions through its CAS technology, processing and support services. Partnering with over 30 professional associations, the company has spent the last two decades developing discipline-wide services for a range of fields, including most of the health professions, as well as engineering (EngineeringCAS), business (BusinessCAS), social work (SocialWorkCAS), psychology (PSYCAS) and architecture (ArchCAS). Liaison's direct-to-campus offering, UniCAS, powers admissions on nearly 40 campuses, including the CSU System. It centralizes the decentralized world of graduate admissions on a school-by-school basis with institution-specific solutions that integrate data with Liaison's national CASs.
