Liaison Expands Leadership Team with New Vice President of Client Success and Executive Director of Association Partnerships
Company Makes Strategic Hires for Improved Customer Support and Client Success
BOSTON, Feb. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Liaison, the leader in enrollment management, CRM and marketing solutions, has appointed Robert Ruiz as Vice President of Client Success and Ron Hyman as Executive Director of Association Partnerships. These two additions to Liaison's leadership team will allow the company to provide better support for its CAS (Centralized Application Services) and UniCAS clients, as well as work strategically with associations to help their member institutions streamline their admission processes and deliver their students with the most modern and efficient applicant experience possible.
Robert Ruiz brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education to Liaison, where he'll lead the newly created Client Success team to ensure superior service to the colleges, institutions and educational associations partnering with Liaison to identify, recruit and enroll best-fit students. Prior to working with Liaison, Ruiz served as Director of Admissions at the University of Michigan School of Medicine for ten years, where he was responsible for medical student recruitment and development and community outreach. Ruiz has also consulted for nine educational associations, helping them to streamline their admissions processes with Centralized Applications Services (CASs).
"As a former admissions professional, I am excited to have the opportunity to help institutions improve their admissions processes and meet enrollment goals through Liaison's solutions," said Ruiz. "Liaison recognizes the operational challenges that admissions officers face on a daily basis and is committed to relieving them of administrative tasks so they can focus on communicating with best-fit applicants and using data for long-term planning."
Ron Hyman will act as the Executive Director of Association Partnerships, where his primary responsibility will be to build relationships with educational associations not yet using a CAS. He has spent the past 10 years working in the higher education space and has more than 20 years of experience in business development for Internet security and authentication solutions. Previously, Hyman co-founded Avow Systems (acquired by Parchment in October of 2012), the market's first end-to-end solution for secure electronic document delivery where he helped more than 100 institutions transform the way they process official transcripts.
"Having worked directly with institutions to help improve their transcript exchange services, I understand the limited time admissions officers have and how important it is to relieve their administrative burdens," said Hyman. "I'm eager to work with institutions and associations looking to improve not only their application process, but also their outreach and enrollment processes."
"With Robert's vast experience in virtually every facet of a Centralized Application Service, as well as Ron's expertise in the enrollment process, these key hires are sure to benefit our Association partners as well as Liaison's clients in improving admissions processes and ensuring they receive the best possible ROI from Liaison's solutions and services," said Michael Behringer, CEO of Liaison.
