ATLANTA, Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Industry veteran Kevin McNamara has been named vice president of Commercial Air Conditioning for LG Electronics USA, the company announced today. McNamara, who brings more than two decades of experience to his new role at LG, will be responsible for managing and leading LG's commercial, residential and applied air conditioning business in the United States.
McNamara reports to Senior Vice President James Lee, who leads the LG Electronics USA's Air-Conditioning & Energy Solutions business unit. LG Electronics USA also announced that Darren Gibula, a 10-year air conditioning industry veteran, has been appointed operations director for Commercial Air Conditioning, reporting to McNamara. Gibula and McNamara will be based in the company's U.S. air conditioning headquarters in Alpharetta, Ga.
"Kevin's broad experience in the commercial air conditioning industry will take our leadership to the next level as we continue to invest aggressively in the U.S. marketplace," said Wayne Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics USA.
