LG Electronics, Harlem Globetrotters Amp Up The NCAA® Final Four®

ATLANTA, April 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bringing special "life's good" memories to fans of all ages, NCAA Corporate Partner LG Electronics USA is bringing the world famous Harlem Globetrotters to college basketball's biggest stage, the 2013 NCAA Men's Final Four^®.

The Globetrotters' signature flair and unique brand of family entertainment will be a center- court highlight at the Bracket Town fan experience.  "LG Presents the Harlem Globetrotters at Bracket Town" will entertain fans of all ages on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Globetrotters stars Scooter Christensen, Bull Bullard, Handles Franklin, Buckets Blakes, Slick Willie Shaw and Jet Williams will battle their arch-nemesis, the Washington Generals, and then meet fans and sign autographs after the game. Complementing the action on the court will be fun interactions between the Globetrotters and LG premium smart products, including the Optimus G smartphone, an LG Smart TV and even an LG refrigerator.

Prior to their Bracket Town appearance with LG, the Globetrotters have added a new twist to an event that has become synonymous with the team in recent years, the College Slam Dunk Championship.  The winner of the 2013 competition, on April 4 at Georgia Tech University, will be guaranteed a tryout with the Globetrotters. In addition, the Globetrotters will serve as celebrity judges for the High School Slam Dunk Championship on Friday, with the competition telecast on CBS at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday.
