Lexus Shows Off Two LFA Supercars, All-New 2014 Lexus IS, At Atlanta International Auto Show
ATLANTA, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lexus will have its full model lineup, including the LFA supercar and the all-new 2014 IS, on display at the Atlanta International Auto Show this week.
Lexus' more than 10,000 square foot exhibit space offers show-goers an up-close look at its newest and upcoming vehicles, including the 2014 IS sedan. The all-new 2014 Lexus IS, which made its world debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, sports superior exterior and interior styling as well as greatly enhanced driving dynamics.
The IS and other new Lexus vehicles showcase the design direction Lexus is implementing across its entire line. This past year saw Lexus introduce new versions of the ES and LS sedans, and RX and LX sport utility vehicles – all brandishing the new signature spindle grille. After Lexus saw its 2012 sales jump 31 percent over the previous year, the luxury car manufacturer expects an even brighter 2013 with its heavily revamped lineup.
Lexus earned top honors in two categories of U.S. News & World Report's 2013 Best Cars for the Money awards for its outstanding value. The RX 350 luxury utility vehicle received the Best Luxury 2-Row Midsize SUV for the Money while the RX 450h hybrid luxury utility vehicle won the Best Hybrid SUV for the Money. This is the fifth year in a row that the RX 350 has won this award, while the RX 450h has received the top honor in its category for the past two years.
Lexus' super car – the LFA – is also coming to the Atlanta show. Since coming to market nearly two years ago, the 552-horsepower LFA has quickly established itself as one of the world's great performance vehicles.
