ATLANTA, Oct. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- To help law enforcement agencies be more successful with their field training officer programs from recruiting to evaluating officer performance, LexisNexis Risk Solutions will highlight its fully automated web-based LexisNexis Law Enforcement Automated Personnel System (LEAPS) at the upcoming International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference, held in Philadelphia, October 21-24, 2017. LEAPS is a personnel management and training solution designed by field training officers and built by active law enforcement officers, to reform outdated internal training and employee processes – ones that include three-ring binders, clipboards, and "testing versus training" mindsets.

- Performance Evaluations—Keep track of every performance evaluation and automatically receive alerts for negative performance trends and low ratings.
- Training Compliance—Ensure that staff qualifications and certifications are up to date. Agency staff can receive alerts when renewals are due and administrators can run reports to immediately identify any lapses.
- Update Verification—Confirm that all staff have been alerted and have read any updates to policies or procedures.
- Training Tracking—Identify and record all training courses attended and completed by staff.
