Levy Restaurants Brings Tradition And Excellence To Notre Dame Athletic Venues As Newly Named Hospitality Partner
Levy to design memorable food and beverage experiences across all athletic venues, including the Campus Crossroads Project
CHICAGO, May 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Levy Restaurants and the University of Notre Dame have entered into an agreement establishing Levy as the athletics hospitality partner. Levy, the premier provider for high-profile sports and entertainment venues across North America, will develop Notre Dame's culinary voice across all athletic venues, including Notre Dame Stadium, Compton Family Ice Arena and Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center among others, to match the university's high athletic and academic standards.
The partnership will infuse local flavors into concessions in each venue, building on stadium favorites with trend inspired menus. High-touch hospitality will be a focus, implementing pre-season and ongoing training for Levy employees to ensure that guests feel the spirit of game day in every interaction. Local producers, ingredients and chef-driven concepts will bring the best tastes of the region to fans. Giving back to the community is also paramount to the partnership, and Levy will continue Notre Dame's commitment to working with current and new not-for-profit groups to raise funds for their organizations as part of the concessions program.
Levy will also work closely with Notre Dame in the next year to deliver on the vision of the Campus Crossroads Project, bringing strategic insights and planning resources to craft industry-leading hospitality experiences at Notre Dame Stadium. In the new premium clubs, Levy will draw on its award-winning restaurant roots and experience at events such as the Kentucky Derby to cultivate the ultimate game day experience. This includes guest celebrity chef programs, seasonal menus, luxury chef tables, and a high level of personal service.
"In designing a culinary program for one of the country's cornerstone athletic brands, we are excited to deliver a hospitality experience that builds on instilled traditions and creates memories for the many generations of fans and guests," said Andy Lansing, President and CEO of Levy Restaurants.
Already established as one of the leading hospitality providers in the professional sports and entertainment industry, Levy continues to grow as a leading collegiate athletics partner. Levy's portfolio of colleges includes high profile programs across five major athletics conferences.
