MELVILLE, N.Y., March 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Leviton today announced the launch of the next generation of electric vehicle charging station pedestals for workplace environments. The new pedestal system integrates Leviton's industry-first Evr-Green^® 32-amp electric vehicle charging station with a very affordable pedestal system, equipped to provide single or dual electric vehicle mounting options to allow users to charge two vehicles per pedestal.

The electric vehicle charging station pedestal system features Leviton's proprietary charge coupler docking system that conveniently keeps the connector off of the ground while the cord effortlessly wraps around the charging station. Both the charging station and charge connector can be locked to prevent unauthorized use. The pedestal is proudly made in the United States and is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
