Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Deep Value Fund Promotes Ronnie Kaplan to Managing Director and Peter Deschner to Director

LOS ANGELES, May 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Levine Leichtman Capital Partners ("LLCP"), a Los Angeles based private equity firm, today announced that Ronnie Kaplan has been promoted to Managing Director of the Deep Value Fund and Peter Deschner has been promoted to Director of the Deep Value Fund.

Mr. Kaplan joined LLCP as a director in 2010, bringing extensive expertise in analyzing distressed debt investments and executing restructuring transactions as a former partner at Wolf Point Capital and Vice President at PPM America.

Mr. Deschner joined LLCP in 2008 as an associate director focusing on origination and analysis of new investment opportunities, investment due diligence and monitoring of portfolio companies.  Prior to joining LLCP, Mr. Deschner worked as an associate at Oaktree Capital Management LP.
