The House has worked on a number of projects since September around Lenovo's flagship Yoga family of multimode products, including both PCs and Android tablets, and is working in partnership with a network of local agencies on the ground across the EMEA region.
Commenting on the appointment Lenovo vice president of marketing in EMEA, Jan Huckfeldt, said: "Our brand is well known in many countries around the world but we still have a way to go to achieve the brand recognition and consideration in EMEA and in particular with the key net-gen market. We are at an exciting time as a company as we move our business from just PCs to tablets and smartphones. The House's strong EMEA experience, combined with its approach of a team of brand experts that partner with best of breed agencies on the ground is the right one for us now."
Richard Pinder, founder and CEO of The House Worldwide, added: "Lenovo is a company going from strength to strength - disturbing the status quo and overtaking the stalwart brands in terms of market share across the world. It's our job to ensure we can do the same when it comes to the Lenovo brand in EMEA. We believe our new model of working, along with creative and strategic insights will elevate Lenovo's brand to where it needs to be."
