Moritz Adds Communications Oversight of Fandango, DailyCandy, and Television Without Pity To Her Purview
NEW YORK, Nov. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NBCUniversal executive Lenore Moritz has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Communications, Digital and Integrated Media, in NBCUniversal's Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media (E&DN/IM) division. In this expanded role, Moritz takes on communications oversight of DailyCandy, Fandango, Television Without Pity and elevates her role within Integrated Media (IM) to lead communications for the group. IM is the creative content, marketing, and research group which develops custom cross-portfolio deals across NBCUniversal, and encompasses Women at NBCU, Green is Universal, Healthy at NBCU and Hispanics at NBCU.

Most recently, Moritz was Vice President of Communications for Integrated Media and iVillage, which recently moved to the digital portfolio in NBCUniversal's News division. In her new position, Moritz will oversee corporate messaging and media outreach, as well as work closely with and advise the leaders of the businesses she supports. She will also be charged with developing an overarching communications strategy to help leverage both digital and integrated marketing synergies across the entire E&DN/IM portfolio. Moritz will report to Nick Lehman - President of Digital, NBCUniversal E&DN/IM; John Shea - EVP and CMO, NBCUniversal's Integrated Media; and, Hilary Smith - SVP of Communications, NBCUniversal E&DN/IM.

Just prior to joining NBCUniversal in 2011, Moritz founded MomCultureOnline.com, a website that offered parents easy access to arts and entertainment so they could stay in-the-know after having children. Moritz handled all aspects of the site, from artist interviews to producing video segments, and also became an arts contributor to outlets including The Huffington Post, Warner Bros' Momlogic.com, and socialmoms.com.
Earlier in her career, Moritz was a Senior Vice President at Dan Klores Communications (DKC) in New York handling a wide array of clients including Universal Orlando, Variety, Redbook, New Balance, Fine Line Films, and film maker Michael Moore. Before DKC, Moritz was at Shandwick in New York, where she worked with General Mills brands Chex Party Mix and Betty Crocker, as well as re-launched Pan Am airlines. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, she resides in Manhattan with her husband and two children.
