Lend Lease Celebrates its 19th Annual Global Community Day

NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Lend Lease, a global integrated property and infrastructure provider, participated in its 19th annual Community Day today. Over 4,200 Lend Lease employees across the globe volunteered on over 250 projects, strategically chosen in accordance with Lend Lease's global focus on sustainability to address social, economic and environmental issues challenging communities around the globe.

In the Americas alone, over 800 Lend Lease employees participated in 54 projects that included building, gardening, cleaning and painting for facilities and organizations that benefit children, families, animals and veterans for such organizations as Columbia Manhattanville Community Center, SPCA, Habitat for Humanity, Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans Inc., San Francisco Botanical Garden and many other large and small organizations throughout the region. Also, many of these projects are focused on support for environmental initiatives, parks and community gardens.
