Lend Lease Announces New Florida Structure for Its Project Management & Construction Business
NEW YORK, June 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lend Lease, one of the nation's leaders in project management and construction, has announced today a new Florida structure.
Lend Lease, through its legacy Bovis Lend Lease business, has had a strong presence in Florida for over 40 years. As Lend Lease continues to adapt to the current business climate, a decision has been made to centralize operations in Tampa, Florida. The Tampa office will be a fully operational office and will service all clients throughout the state.
Within the Tampa office, Lend Lease will continue to provide clients with industry leading services including project/construction management, general contracting, design build and consulting services in numerous market sectors including healthcare, education, senior living, retail, hospitality, government/public agency, residential and transportation segments.
Karen Voit has been promoted to Operations Director heading up all Florida operations and will be located in Tampa, Florida, reporting to General Manager Joseph R. Farrell.
After working as a Project Engineer for the legacy Bovis Lend Lease business during her tenure at the University of Florida, Karen joined Lend Lease in May of 1995 and served most recently as Vice President and Project Executive.
As a Project Executive for the Healthcare Group, Karen has been responsible for the supervision and coordination of multiple healthcare projects. Karen has over 15 years in project management experience and is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction.
Kevin Glenn remains as Business Development Manager for the State of Florida.
Along with Lend Lease's project management & construction services provided through the Tampa office, the Lend Lease DASCO regional headquarters office will remain in Palm Beach Gardens. Lend Lease DASCO will continue to provide full service medical real estate development, acquisition and leasing services to healthcare clients throughout the state and nationally.
