Lemnis Lighting Named Best Cleantech Company of the Year in Western Europe by World Finance
2010 Technology Awards Announced June 23 at the London Stock Exchange
LONDON and BARNEVELD, Netherlands, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Lemnis Lighting was honored yesterday by World Finance magazine in its 2010 Technology Awards as the "Best Cleantech Company of the Year" in the Western Europe region. The prize was presented at the London Stock Exchange by World Finance and was received by two of Lemnis Lighting's founders Frans Otten and John Rooymans.
"Lemnis has put sustainability at the center of the design process. They develop lighting innovations that help consumers, companies and policy makers to combat climate change by replacing inefficient traditional lighting with LED technology," offered World Finance Magazine's editors in the recent issue on newsstands now.

World Finance placed the 2010 award nominees before a critical panel, members of which possessed a total of 186 years of experience in financial journalism. The magazine's readers were also able to vote for nominees, based on criteria such as innovation, originality, customer satisfaction, quality of product and proven market development.
