Leidos Wins Contracts from U.S. Air Force for Comprehensive Environmental Engineering Services

RESTON, Va., April 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), an infrastructure, national security and health solutions company, was awarded a prime contract by the Air Force Installation Contracting Agency to provide environmental services for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a combined, maximum ceiling of $500 million. Leidos is one of multiple contractors eligible to compete for work under this contract.

AFCEC is responsible for providing responsive, flexible full-spectrum installation engineering services. AFCEC's mission includes facility investment planning; design and construction; operations support; real property management; readiness; energy support; environmental compliance and restoration; and audit assertions, acquisition and program management. The unit conducts its operations at more than 75 locations worldwide.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide Title I and Title II design services for environmental construction projects, as well as a full range of environmental services, including the implementation of restoration; pollution prevention and compliance; and conservation environmental projects.
