RESTON, Va., March 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a national security, health and engineering solutions company, was awarded a prime contract by Boston Properties and Konterra Realty to provide information technology, security and facilities support for a multi-tenant secure facility. The single-award contract has a three year base period of performance, two one-year options and a total value of approximately $16 million if both options are exercised. The contract was awarded under the Facility Mega Center Operations and Maintenance contract. Work will be performed at Annapolis Junction, Md.
Boston Properties and Konterra Realty are Joint Venture Partners in Phase I of Annapolis Junction Business Park. Boston Properties is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust, one of the largest owners, managers and developers of first-class office properties in the U.S. Konterra Realty develops, builds, manages and leases exceptional commercial properties in the Washington, D.C. region. Under the current contract, Leidos will provide comprehensive help desk services along with security and facilities management of a multi-tenant secure facility.
