RESTON, Va., Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a national security, health and engineering solutions company, announced it was awarded a task order by the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) to provide intelligence analysis support. The cost-plus fixed-fee (CPFF) contract has a one-year base period of performance, a single year option, and a total contract value of approximately $19 million if the option is exercised. The contract was awarded under the INSCOM Omnibus III contract vehicle. Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Va.

INSCOM is an Army major command that conducts intelligence, security and information operations for military commanders and national decision makers. Under the contract, continued support will be provided for digital network intelligence analysis, computer network operations, targeting, counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, malware, cyber discovery, requirements management and collection management. Skilled analysts will provide computer network operations, digital network intelligence and other highly technical intelligence disciplines.

Leidos has submitted a change-of-name agreement to the U.S. government to recognize the name change, which is currently under review by the responsible Defense Contract Management Agency contracting officer.
