Leica Microsystems Introduces New Sales Agent in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., Feb. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Leica Microsystems, a technology leader with a 160-year history of providing best-in-class precision microscopy and digital micro-imaging solutions, announces a strategic expansion in its market representation for government and forensic accounts in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia.

John Ossi of Germantown, Md. will represent Leica microscopy solutions for forensic and government agency customers in the region. John will provide expert applications and technology support with the high level of responsiveness that Leica's valued existing and prospective customers demand.

Ossi holds a MS in Geology from the University of Maryland. Since 1985, he has worked for Leica, Leica dealers, digital camera and imaging analysis software companies. He has also provided microscopy instruction for the ATF, FBI and the Smithsonian Institution. Ossi has a history of providing creative imaging solutions fulfilling the unique needs of forensic, art conservation and industrial microscopy clients.
