Leica Microsystems Announces Direct Operation in North America - Pacific Northwest Region
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., July 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Leica Microsystems, a technology leader in microscope and image analysis solutions, announces a strategic transition in its market representation in the Pacific Northwest states.
Leica Microsystems distributor Bartels and Stout will no longer be representing the company as a regional dealer in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.

"We look forward to working more closely with our customers to provide customized, advanced imaging systems for their life science research instrumentation requirements," said Douglas Reed, Vice President, North American Life Science Division.
