Legion on Tahmooressi Release: 'Treat his Post Traumatic Stress'
INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 31, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- American Legion National Commander Michael D. Helm issued the following statement regarding Mexico's decision to release Andrew Tahmooressi:
"The American Legion rejoices that a Mexican judge has ordered the immediate release of Andrew Tahmooressi. The American Legion has long believed this Marine Corps hero's detainment was unjust. Now, the most important concern for The American Legion is that Andrew Tahmooressi receive immediate treatment for his Post Traumatic Stress.
