Legion calls for immediate rescheduling of Choice hearing

INDIANAPOLIS, May 10, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The leader of the nation's largest veterans organization called on the Senate Veteran's Affairs Committee to reschedule a hearing on the improvement of the Choice Health Care Program for veterans.  A hearing that was scheduled for today did not occur. "The Choice program is critical to the health care of our veterans," said American Legion National Commander Charles E. Schmidt. "We respectfully urge the Senate to immediately reschedule the hearing that was cancelled today. Through their service, America's veterans have earned the right to receive quality and efficient health care, regardless of where they decide to call home."
