Leggett & Platt's Board of Directors announced a dividend of $.36 per share for the third quarter, an increase of $.02 per share or 5.9% versus the third quarter of 2016. The dividend will be paid on October 13, 2017 to shareholders of record on September 15, 2017.
A member of Standard & Poor's Dividend Aristocrats, Leggett & Platt has increased its annual dividend for 46 consecutive years. At an annual indicated dividend of $1.44 per share, the stock's dividend yield is 3.0%, based upon yesterday's closing stock price of $47.62 per share.
