SEATTLE, March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Avvo, Inc., the leading online legal marketplace, today announced the addition of real-time photo share and review to Avvo Advisor® – the first on-demand legal service that delivers help from top-reviewed lawyers whenever, wherever in a 15 minute call for only $39. Now users of the Avvo Advisor app can seamlessly send a photo, including images of documents, related to their legal issue for immediate review during their call with a lawyer. Whether it's a traffic ticket, confusing contract language, property damage, social media harassment, or virtually any other legal matter, people can now show a lawyer items relating to their legal issue, resulting in an even more efficient and detailed call. The photo feature is available in the Avvo Advisor iOS app today and will be added to the online version of Avvo Advisor in the coming weeks.
Whether it's fear of high costs or the abundance of negative lawyer stereotypes, people often delay or avoid getting the legal help they need and deserve. According to a 2015 Avvo survey, only 50 percent of people with a legal issue ended up hiring a lawyer. And, according to the 2014 Annual Gallup Work and Education Poll, the legal field was named the third most negatively rated industry in the U.S., just above the oil and gas industry and the federal government.1
"Getting legal help should be as easy as booking a car service and as routine as a medical check-up, yet people facing all kinds of legal issues consistently tell us that hiring a lawyer is too hard," said Mark Britton, founder and CEO at Avvo. "Avvo Advisor, with its on-demand access to highly reviewed attorneys, affordable fixed fee, and now photo sharing, addresses these hurdles and puts the power of legal, literally, in the palm of your hand."
People are embracing how easy and efficient Avvo Advisor makes getting legal help:
- 96% user satisfaction rate
