NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Last night before a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden, Country star Lee Brice was awarded an industry milestone with a surprise presentation by the RIAA recognizing "I Don't Dance" as the Fastest Certified Platinum Country Single released in 2014.

As final notes to the rowdy new radio single "Drinking Class" faded, Brice's long-time friend Hoda Kotb of Today's "Kathie Lee and Hoda," and representatives of the RIAA (Cara Duckworth and Jonathan Lamy), joined Lee on stage to unveil his award. With fans still on their feet in celebration, Lee closed his set with "I Don't Dance."
"I Don't Dance" is the title track to Brice's third studio album and was written as a wedding gift to his wife, Sara. It recently held the #1 spot at Country radio and received a CMA nomination for "Song of The Year" last week. The new album is available now on iTunes: bit.ly/lbdeluxe
