Lebanon County Man Wins $1 Million From PA Lottery Instant Ticket
FREDERICKSBURG, Pa., April 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Hervy Gibson of Fredericksburg, Lebanon County, won $1 million from the Pennsylvania Lottery's Golden Millions instant game.
Lottery Executive Director Ed Trees today presented a ceremonial check to Gibson at Speedway Mart, where the ticket was purchased. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
"I'm not going to do anything different," said Gibson, who recently retired from the Milprint Division of Bemis Flexible Packaging in Lebanon. "It will be nice to have a new house, but I am planning to put a large portion of the money aside for my grandchildren's education."
Introduced in March 2010, Golden Millions is a $20 instant game with two remaining top prizes of $1 million. The overall odds of winning any prize are 1-in-3.18.
