Learn More About the New Health Care Reform Measure and Telework on 'Inside Government'
Common Cause President, Former U.S. Rep. Bob Edgar (D-Pa.) to Discuss Health Care Changes for Families on AFGE Radio Show
WASHINGTON, March 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- This week's AFGE "Inside Government" radio show will tackle issues including the new health care reform and teleworking for federal employees. The show will air on Friday, March 26 at 10 a.m. ET nationwide on Federal News Radio at www.federalnewsradio.com and 1500 AM in the Washington, D.C., area.
Common Cause President/CEO and former U.S. Rep. Bob Edgar (D-Pa.) will detail the changes Americans can expect in the immediate future and long-term, including cost and services provided. Maryland Citizens' Health Initiative President Vincent DeMarco then will discuss how reform will impact the state of Maryland, and also shed light on President Obama's efforts in getting the health care bill passed.

During her testimony, Kimsey stressed the need for a comprehensive telework plan as a way to keep the government functioning during unexpected shutdowns.
