Leading Restaurant Group to Open New Location at Shelter Cove Towne Centre

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C., Aug. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SERG Restaurant Group has been synonymous with high-quality food and service on Hilton Head Island. The partners of SERG Group are excited to announce that they will be creating a new landmark destination restaurant in the Shelter Cove Towne Centre. The SERG Group has signed a letter of intent with the developers of the brand-new shopping village to bring a signature SERG restaurant to Shelter Cove. The opening of this new flagship restaurant in 2014 will earmark the 30th anniversary of the SERG Group on Hilton Head.

The concept for the new restaurant has been in development for three years, according to SERG Founder and President Steve Carb. Those years were spent on brainstorming, researching, refining, and defining a new concept. When the developers of the towne centre approached SERG with an ideal location, the details fell into place.

While those details are not yet ready to be announced, the SERG Group is confident that their newest project will be a special addition to the SERG brand. As an area that prides itself on an impressive array of culinary offerings, Hilton head will provide the perfect home for a destination restaurant. Drawing visitors from the Southeast and beyond, the restaurant will serve to assist in promoting the island as a culinary destination.

In addition to high-quality food and service, the new SERG Restaurant will occupy a prime location in the Shelter Cove Towne Centre. The two-story project will feature outdoor dining and rooftop bar, showcasing sunset views over Broad Creek.

The shopping village, five-acre public park and the Island lifestyle is expected to draw locals and visitors year-round, "and we predict the new SERG restaurant will fit as a key piece to that puzzle."
