SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing to establish itself as the premier developer of vaporizers, PAX Labs, Inc. today announced a partnership and special edition device with the trend forecasting group K-HOLE. PAX will be debuting this collaboration and the K-HOLE Limited Edition PAX 2 devices at Art Basel in Miami on December 4, 2015.
K-HOLE is a trend forecasting group founded in 2010 by Gregory Fong, Sean Monahan, Emily Segal, Chris Sherron and Dena Yago – a group of New York-based artists, designers, brand strategists and writers famous for addressing how brand and consumer experiences are constructed and exploring the plausible limits of corporate and consumer strategy.
The PAX / K-HOLE collaboration will be limited to 10 hand-customized devices and incorporate the famous K-HOLE touch. Each PAX 2 device is signed with the K-HOLE insignia using a diamond drag engraver and individually numbered for authenticity. The hand-buffered and polished devices are the most intricately designed PAX yet, with an MSRP of $1000.
"If you're going to spend $1000 on something, it might as well be chrome," shared K-HOLE.
K-HOLE's work has been exhibited at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, NY; the Serpentine Galleries in London, UK; the Staatliche Kunsthalle in Baden-Baden, DE; Kraupa Tuskany Zeidler in Berlin, DE; MoMA PS1 in New York, NY; and the Moscow International Biennale for Young Art.
"We are proud to collaborate with such an innovative group of individuals. K-HOLE is a fantastic example of creatives and trendsetters. I'm excited for PAX's innovative brand to be articulated through K-HOLE's creative perspective," shared PAX Labs CMO, Richard Mumby.
In celebration of this collaboration, PAX and K-HOLE are co-hosting an invite-only launch event "K-PAX" at the rooftop at Gale South Beach at 1690 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, on Friday, December 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will feature entertainment by American record producer and songwriter Metro Boomin – best known for his work producing instrumentals for leading artists such as Ludacris, Travi$ Scott, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa – as well as special guests, with custom cocktails by Arley Marks, and the special edition PAX 2 / K-HOLE PAX 2 units will be displayed.
The K-HOLE Limited Edition PAX 2, as well as the limited edition Gold PAX 2 and the charcoal and platinum PAX 2 devices, is available for purchase at upscale men's and women's designer fashion boutique Atrium, at 1931 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. PAX 2 devices are also available at select fine retailers in the US, Canada, Germany and England, as well as at PAXvapor.com.

About K-HOLE
K-HOLE is a trend forecasting group founded in 2010 by Gregory Fong, Sean Monahan, Emily Segal, Chris Sherron and Dena Yago – a group of New York-based artists, designers, brand strategists and writers. Using the specific language of the marketing and advertising industry, K-HOLE addresses how brand and consumer experiences are constructed, and explores the plausible limits of corporate and consumer strategy. It is at the core of the project that the reports circulate amongst both the art and marketing worlds, recognizing how information flows between both and elucidating how decisions are made at a large cultural scale.
