Leading National Construction Safety Award Won By Detroit-Based Company
DETROIT, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The highly regarded Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America 2009 Construction Safety and Excellence Award announced first place to Walbridge, a Detroit-based multi-national construction service provider. Walbridge's safety performance was ranked best in the country in the Building Division, at an award ceremony on March 19 during the 91st AGC Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida.
The AGC Construction Safety and Excellence Awards recognizes companies who have developed and implemented excellent safety and loss prevention programs achieved through management commitment, employee involvement and program innovation. This is Walbridge's second nomination for the award in four years.
