Leading International LPG Associations Appoint Argus to Produce Annual Reviews
LONDON, March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading energy price reporting agency Argus has won contracts to produce annual statistical reviews for the World LP Gas Association (WLPGA) and European LPG industry body (AEGPL) for the next three years.
The new reports will include historical data on supply, demand and trade flows. The first Argus-produced reports will be released during the second half of 2012 and will analyze trends by sector — industrial, commercial, transportation, domestic and chemicals.
Argus LPG price assessments are widely used in physical and derivative contracts around the world. Argus LPG benchmarks include benchmarks such as the cif ARA large propane and butane assessments and the Argus North Sea Index (ANSI) propane and butane indexes, which are used in northwest and eastern Europe. The Argus Far East Index is the benchmark for LPG trading in Asia. Argus LPG World is the leading source of market intelligence, analysis and critical insight for the industry.
