ASPEN, Colo., March 9, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CCRM, one of the nation's leading fertility networks, has concluded its Inaugural Scientific Conference in Aspen, Colorado. The conference, designed to integrate CCRM's growing network from the clinical and research perspectives, included scientific presentations from CCRM's pioneering physicians, embryologists and researchers.
"CCRM is always looking toward the future and achieving the best possible clinical outcomes for our patients," said Tom Hannam, M.D., from CCRM's Toronto Fertility Clinic. "CCRM's Scientific Conference is a unique opportunity to share research and best practices with some of the top minds in the field of reproductive health in the CCRM network."
Scientific presentations at the conference included:
- Mandy Katz-Jaffe, Ph.D., Comprehensive Chromosome Screening
- Robert Gustofson, M.D., IVF Calendars and Protocols

"As a young physician, I'm really fortunate to have a network of 24 physicians to consult with when helping women and couples be able to have the children they've previously only been able to dream about," said April Batcheller, M.D., from CCRM Minneapolis.
Alexandre Sheiko, lab supervisor with CCRM's Houston IVF, said being able to access expertise from across CCRM's network has been helpful. "The data benchmarking and training we can do across the CCRM network allows us to learn so much more than we could if we were working in isolation. As is often said, there truly is power in numbers, and this power adds up to better clinical outcomes for our patients."
