Leading experts to keynote at MIPIM Asia 2012

On Thursday 8 November at 9:30 am, Dr. Yuwa Hedrick-Wong, Distinguished Professor of International Business, University of British Columbia, and Global Economic Advisor, will be sharing his macro-analysis in an exclusive keynote address on "Wealth Creation in the New Global Economy: Implications for Property Markets in Asia." Dr. Yuwa Hedrick-Wong is a business strategist and economist with 25 years of experience gained across 30 countries and has served as strategy advisor to many leading multinational companies in the Asia Pacific region, monitoring and forecasting economic growth and emerging business development trends in the global economy.
To what extent is Asia still a growth engine?
On Wednesday 7 November at 10:15 am, the MIPIM Asia Investment Summit will feature an opening keynote address on "2012: a year in review and its impacts on 2013." Dr. Joy Yang, Chief Economist for Greater China at Mirae Asset Securities, will pool her in-depth expertise in equity analysis with Michael Buchanan's, Managing Director and Chief Asia Pacific Economist at Goldman Sachs (Asia). Both conference speakers have previously worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), conducting global financial research and economic surveillance in Asia.
In parallel, the MIPIM Asia Retail Summit will propose a keynote address to review 2012 on the retailers' side, on Thursday 8 November at 2 pm. Carmine Rotondaro, Worldwide Real Estate Director for the PPR Group, will detail the simple idea which turned into some of the world's most successful brands, such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent or Puma. On the closing day, Friday 9 November at 11:30 am, Dr. Richard Barkham, Group Research Director, Grosvenor, will wrap-up the key findings from MIPIM Asia 2012, compiling the wealth of information and insights that the Wisconsin School of Business will have gathered from conferences and participants' interviews on site.
